Visa
No visa required
You don't need a visa for a tourist visit, as long as you stay within the limit and meet the conditions below.
From 16 January 2026, Chinese tourist and business visitors may enter through Manila NAIA or Mactan-Cebu airports for 14 days. This stay cannot be extended or converted to another status. You need a passport valid for six months beyond the stay, a confirmed hotel booking, a return or onward ticket, and no derogatory record with the Bureau of Immigration. Transit to a third country requires a Philippine transit visa. Other entry points require a separately valid entry route.
The portal also lists a separate 7-day exemption under FSC112-11 for mainland Chinese tourists with a valid visa from Australia, Japan, Canada, a Schengen state or the United States. It may be extended by 14 days to a maximum of 21 days. This is separate from the newer 14-day airport route. Confirm the admission category that applies to you; the longer stay is conditional.
- Maximum initial stay
- 14 days
