Visa

Visa required

This is an eVisa, which you apply for online. Check the eligibility rules and the documents you'll need before you travel.

Tunisian ordinary passport tourist needs an advance visa under the general immigration rule and uses the Thai eVisa system through the competent mission while outside Thailand. Tourist admission is up to 60 days per entry; actual permission is set by immigration. Tunisia has a bilateral VISA FEE exemption; this does not remove the obligation to obtain a visa.

Government fees
Visa fee exempt under bilateral arrangement; a visa application is still required.

Onward travel

Required under these conditions

Visa exemption: Have confirmed proof of departure by air, train, bus or boat for the ordinary tourist visa-exemption route. Leave within the stay permitted for your entry route.

Visa on Arrival: Have a paid departure ticket and leave within the permitted 15-day stay.

Source clarification: The Thai Embassy in Doha mentions a ticket usable within 30 days. This does not extend the 15-day stay allowed by Visa on Arrival.

Travel insurance

Recommended

Travel insurance is recommended for ordinary short tourist visits. A general compulsory requirement for all such visitors has not been confirmed. Special long-stay visas can require insurance; check the conditions for your visa or entry route.

Other information

These conditions are for a regular tourist visit. Where you live, your visa status and the route you take can change what applies to you.

  • General visitor guidance requires at least six months of passport validity and one blank page; the Visa on Arrival checklist can require two blank pages.
  • Financial evidence is required, but current official pages disagree on a universal visa-exemption cash threshold. Check the conditions for your specific route.
  • Health requirements depend on recent travel and transit, including yellow-fever risk areas and current disease-control measures. Passport nationality alone does not determine exposure.
